This 2012 exhibit coincided with the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic and highlighted the fashions for men, women, and children of the 1900s and 1910s. The exhibit constituted the largest off-site installation in the Fashion Archives and Museum’s history when the Hanover Area Historical Society hosted the display in its 1912 mansion. The accompanying exhibit catalog features not only the clothing and accessories but also paper ephemera of the White Star Line. Menus, entertainment programs, graphics, advertisements, and announcements supplement the clothing images and provide rich source material for recreating the foods and social life.
